Appeals Policy for Assets Flagged as Violative by Hitskope
1 min read
This article refers to cases where your asset has been flagged as violative by Hitskope. If a DSP or other third party flagged the asset, follow the procedure in the notification email you received.
If you believe a decision about your content — flagging, removal, or withheld revenue — was made in error, you can appeal. Our appeals process reviews all concerns fairly.
1. Sending an Appeal
- Send an email to support@hitskope.com For faster processing, reply directly to the statement listing the flagged assets.
- Address the specific category of infringement (usually shown in the first column) and explain why your asset was flagged. Don't respond to an Artificial Streaming issue by claiming you own the rights. Address the actual issue.
- Include relevant documentation: proof of rights, licensing agreements, evidence of original content creation, or other communications that validate your claim.
2. Review Process
- Our rights team will manually review your case and all provided evidence. Appeals are typically reviewed within a few days, depending on complexity and whether a DSP's input is required. We'll keep you informed of status and any required actions.
3. Outcome
- The outcome may include release of withheld revenue or confirmation of the original decision. You'll be notified via email with the decision and any necessary actions.
4. Further Steps
- If you have additional evidence or information, share it. New documentation, third-party verifications, or other details could change the outcome.
- In most situations, the decision made during the appeals process is final. If further review is warranted, we'll communicate that clearly.
