Can I re-distribute a release after a takedown?

Yes. If you take down a release, you don't need to create a new one. Just re-distribute the same release.

Why? By keeping the same UPC and metadata, you preserve the connection to your original release. This means royalty reports that reference the old UPC will still match your catalog.

Before you take down a release, check if it's even necessary. Review what changes you can and cannot make once your release is live.
