Safelisting / Whitelisting a YouTube Channel

YouTube safelisting/whitelisting is handled by Hitskope on your behalf — you don't process it yourself. Email support@hitskope.com or message your account manager with the channel ID(s) you need safelisted, and we'll submit the request.

What to send us

For each channel you want safelisted, send us the channel ID — the part of the URL that begins with UC:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/**UC9StokH9MOa2Ns_-8HkrcXA**

All channel IDs begin with: UC

If your channel URL is customized (like https://www.youtube.com/c/YourChannel), here's how to find the channel ID:

  • Go to the channel's page on YouTube
  • Right-click an empty portion of the page and select "View page source" (browsers may call this "View source")
  • This opens a new tab showing the HTML
  • Search for: itemprop="url"
  • You'll find something like this:
  • Copy the part that begins with UC up to the end (don't include the quote marks). In this example, the channel ID is: UC9StokH9MOa2Ns_-8HkrcXA

If you have multiple channels to safelist, list each channel ID on a separate line in your email. No spaces or other characters.
